Project Spotlight: From Start to Finish
We often work with our clients from start to finish on a project, but as an outsource service provider in Philadelphia that works with clients all over North America, we don’t always get to see the finished product (aka the completed physical office space). So, when a client of ours sent us some photographs of the installation and completed space, we were excited to be able to see the results of a project we poured our hearts into. It also inspired us to share the evolution of the project from start to finish with our blog readers. Below we’ve broken down the 7 steps taken to complete this project, accompanied by a photo gallery to show the visual evolution of the project.
- The Initial Info Exchange
Our client told us how many stations they needed and what product line they wanted to use. In this case, they needed 7 workstations, 2 storage assemblies, and a lot of custom pieces. Their product line of choice was Teknion District with Teknion Upstage. - Choosing the layout
Our talented team created several space plans for our client to review and choose from. - The Specification
Once the layout was chosen, our team assembled a preliminary Specification of all of the pieces required to assemble each desk, divider, chair, etc. - Special Products
Some custom applications required special product. Our team then produced 2D and 3D drawings of the furniture, like the drawings below. - The Check
The specifications are checked exhaustively by multiple members of our team to ensure complete accuracy for order entry. The final project, including order entry specifications and drawings, is then sent back to the client to be ordered. - Delivery and Installation
Products and pieces are delivered and installers are hired to come in and begin assembling and placing the product according to the chosen layout plans. - Satisfaction
The office is prepared for business and photos are taken by our satisfied clients to show off their beautiful new office space.
